Railway Bridge Decking

Since the late 1980's upgrading of railway bridges has been made a much simpler process with the development of the Furphy Bridge Deck.  Pressed in 6 or 8mm steel plate and then hot dip galvanized these decks can replace existing timber decking with installation times as low as overnight for a whole bridge.

The decks are pressed to a trough profile with overall depth ranging from 100mm to 175mm.
