Design capability:

With a team of qualified Engineers and detail draftsmen Furphy Engineering are able to offer design of Pressure Vessels to ASME VIII or AS1210 or other Pressure Vessel codes.  In addition to the codes themselves our engineers are able to make use of state of the art design software to augment the service. 

Software used includes: 

• PV Elite - Pressure vessel design. 
• Strand7 - Finite Element Analysis software for analysing structures for stress
• AutoDesk Inventor - 3D Computer Aided Drafting.  The use of this package allows for greater drawing control and superior drawing output.

Excellent fabrication facilities:

Furphy Engineering has extensive workshops with some of the countries best equipment for fabricating pressure vessels. 

• Advanced welding equipment (Australia's only plasma welding installation)
• Dedicated dishing and knuckling equipment (largest on the East Coast of Australia with head fabrication to 4.5m diameter)
• Spacious and dedicated workshops
