Furphy Galvanizing working to deliver Foodbowl project: - June 2009

Furphy Galvanizing is supplying hot dip galvanizing services to contractors delivering Victoria's Foodbowl Modernisation project.  This is a $2 Billion project which aims to restore and ensure the competitive edge of the Goupburn Murray Irrigation District as a food producing region.  In addition to supplying hot dip galvanizing services Furphy Galvanizing is also supplying handrails and staunchions from our Rhinograting range of products.

Furphy Engineering ships first major Oil & Gas tank project:  - June 2009

Shepparton's Furphy Engineering is currently shipping the first of 7 stainless steel water and glycol storage tanks for Production Services Network.  These tanks are destined for the West Tuna platform in Bass Strait off the coast of Gippsland - Victoria.  The tanks were constructed to AS1692 and involved Positive Material Identification (PMI) as a standard requirement.  See Recent Projects
